So The Neurologist Says…
That my headaches sound like low CSF pressure headaches. That is, when the cerebrospinal fluid is leaking out of your brain or spine somewhere, similar to when you have had a lumbar puncture and your CSF has been depleted (hence being told not to sit up for an hour after having one).
I have been told to drink lots of coffee and keep the fluids up. I usually drink decaf *whimpers* I won’t be able to sleep! Caffeine has a magical effect on CSF pressure, but they don’t know why. One of the treatments for low csf pressure is a caffeine drip!
Also I have to go off for another MRI, this time with contrast.
And if that doesn’t show anything then it is the dreaded lumbar puncture.
Ahh the joys of multiple sclerosis. Now off to research if there is any link between low CSF pressure and MS.
